Viola Emma Gimlin

Viola (Vi) Emma (Clark) Gimlin, 94, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Compassionate Journey Assisted Living Center in Evanston, Wyoming.

She was born on June 21, 1931 in Payson, Utah, the daughter of George Clark & Elvena (Christensen) Clark.

She retired after about 30 years as a nurse at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful, Utah. She enjoyed reading, crochet, knitting, gardening and especially collecting and shopping for depression and antique glass & collectibles. She was the kindest and most considerate person, and loved by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Darryl Widdison (Rod) Bender Evanston Wy, Grandchildren: Jessica Allred, Amanda Lund, Samantha Lund. Great Grandchildren: Christopher Patrick Holmes, Jayci Emma Dawn Allred, Shayli Jayde Allred, LaNea Brylin Allared, Stepchildren: Arvon Williams, Mignon (John) Nielsen, Montez (Ken) Aubrey, Jayne (Rick) Smith, Eldon Ostberg, Allen Ostberg, and their children & grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Siblings: Vera Lyons, George Clark, Alta Isom, Theressa Rosenlund, Lorraine Craig, LaMar Clark, & LaFaye Clark. Daughter Cheryl (Widdison) Lund, daughter-in-law Gayle Ostberg and Great Grandson Dylan Holmes.

Cremation has taken place, and in accordance with her wishes, no services are planned.
