Obituary

Tina Lin Stubbs, 57, of Spring City UT, passed away unexpectedly on September 5th 2026. She was born on December 21, 1968 in Salt Lake City to Jillene Lander and Dale Parkin.

She grew up in Centerville where she spent her childhood playing dress-up, riding bikes, camping and pestering her siblings–she was their protector and the only one who was allowed to be mean to them. She also loved visiting with her grandmother and hunting pheasants with her dad.

Tina attended Viewmont High, where she met and fell in love with her soul mate, Glen Stubbs. They spent their lives together enjoying the outdoors camping, hunting, riding horses, fishing, exploring with their dogs, 4-wheeling in the Scout, and just relaxing at home. Tina loved helping Glen work on his Scout and other car projects and the two of them were always up for unplanned adventures and shenanigans. When they decided to start their family they continued those adventures and shenanigans throughout their lives together with their children. They would spend their summers camping in the Uintas, 4-wheeling, riding horses, hunting, fishing and exploring together.

She was a dedicated Steelers fan, consistently cheering and hollering out plays and calls at the screen with total conviction and passion that made up for her lack of accuracy. She had a creative spirit and always had a project going, and was never happier than with a craft half-finished on the table and a plan for the next one already taking shape in her head. She enjoyed going all out for family parties, especially Halloween, decorating the yard and coming up with elaborate costumes. Christmas was its own production complete with cozy decorations and a growing army of Santa Clauses taking over every corner of the house. She always knew how to make any place a home.

Tina loved nothing more than her family. To her grandchildren she was the world and they adored spending time with her and she loved every part of being their grandma. To her children she was their loudest most loyal fan showing up for every game, and every milestone no matter what. Above all, she was strong. She was the one everyone leaned on–her spouse, her kids, the whole family–and she did whatever it took to take care of the people she loved, without complaint and without expecting anything in return. She was, simply, their rock. Her beautiful spirit, loving heart and traditions she created will live on through everyone who was lucky enough to love her.

She is survived by her husband, Glen Stubbs, her children Ashley (Weston) Tyler, Sarah (Jordan) Taylor, Cole (Nicole) Stubbs and Jack Stubbs; her grandchildren June Tyler, Delilah Taylor, Kace Stubbs, Henley Tyler, Quade Stubbs, and Dawson Taylor; and her parents Jillene Lander and Dale (Debbie) Parkin; her siblings Brian (Beth) Parkin, Tonya Stransky, as well as many other loving family members and friends.
