Timothy was born February 17, 1962, in Houma, Louisiana the son of Timmie Lee and Wilma Grace (Holder) Bates.

Timothy was proud to serve his country in the US Army.

Timothy is survived by a son Timothy Lenard Bates, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV.
