Timmy Alan Slagowski passed away on July 14, 2025, in Fort Bridger, Wyoming. He was born in Green River, Wyoming to Maurice and Mary Slagowski and later moved to Mountain View, Wyoming where he graduated high school in 1971. He then joined the United States Air Force that summer of the same year. Tim married his high school sweetheart Leanna Dunker in November of 1971. They became parents to their first son Steven in 1973 while stationed in Oxford, England. He continued to serve during the Vietnam war until 1975.

After returning home to Mountain View, WY he began his work in the trona mines at FMC where he worked for 40 yrs. In 1976, his second son Daniel was born followed by his third son Mathew in 1978. During this time Tim also joined the Mountain View Fire Department where he served for 28 years 18 of those years he served as the fire chief, this was something he took tremendous pride in.

Tim retired from FMC in April 2015 after 42 years. Shortly after Leanna and Tim moved to Florida where they enjoyed traveling, deep sea fishing, and the Florida sun. They decided to move back to their Wyoming home, the summer of 2023 where Tim lived until his passing.

Tim was preceded in death by his father Maurice Slagowski, his mother Mary Slagowski, stepmother Ruth Slagowski, and brother Barry Slagowski.

He is survived by his wife Leanna Slagowski, son Steven Slagowski and his wife Samantha, son Daniel Slagowski and his wife Tonya, son Mathew Slagowski, and beloved Swedish foreign exchange student Ann and her 2 daughters. During his life he was able to be Grandfather to 11 grandchildren and  Great Grandfather to 10 great-grandchildren.

He was deeply loved and will be truly missed.
