Tidus "Tido" Hill, age 14, of Evanston, Wyoming, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 17, 2026, after a lifelong battle with epilepsy.

Tido is a radiant, joyful spirit whose light touched everyone he met. He graduated from 8th grade only a few months before his passing and filled his days with the things he loved most: Hot Wheels cars, trains, basketball, swimming, roller coasters and throwing rocks into water to watch the splash! He had a special gift for greeting the world - saying "hi" a million times to friends and strangers alike - and was known above all as a master hug-giver and a living example of unconditional love.

He adored his parents and four siblings, and he freely shared that same warmth with nearly everyone who crossed his path. Tido was an ever-glowing force of light, love, and joy whose spirit was simply too big for this world.

Though he left us far too soon, his family finds comfort in knowing he is now free from his battle-worn body. He is running, jumping, swimming, and speaking with ease. He is greeting every spirit he meets with a cheerful "hello," able at last to hold beautiful, fluid conversations. The same sweet voice that so often said "Hi Dad" is now saying "Hi Dad" to the Father of his spirit. He is safe in the arms of his Heavenly Father.

Tido watches over his parents and four siblings, who will forever carry the gift of the years they were blessed to share with him. Those years never feel like enough, yet the family remains deeply grateful for every moment of his bright, loving presence.

Tido's light continues to shine in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Candle Light Vigil will be held at 8:00 pm on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Hamblin Park in Evanston.  Celebration of Life will be September 5, 2026, time and location will be determined.
