Teresa Michelle Coots, born on April 26, 1967, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in Evanston, Wyoming at the young age of 58. Teresa was a dedicated and spirited individual who made a lasting impact in every fact of her life, from her career to her beloved family. 

In her professional life, Teresa worked as the general manager at Dollar Tree in Evanston, where she poured her heart and soul into the store. Her extensive knowledge and genuine love for her customers created an atmosphere that will not be easily replicated. Teresa's commitment to her work was evident, and she will be remembered as a beloved person in the community. 

Above all, Teresa cherished her family the most. She was a devoted mother to Faith (Curtis) Cleverley of Star Valley Wyoming, Edward Coots (Phllipa Jacobs) of Evanston Wyoming, Curly Coots of Star Valley Wyoming, Storme (Keith) Bishop of Roscommon Michigan, Toby (Sarah) Forman of Roscommon Michigan. Teresa had many many more children and grandchildren that she considered unofficially adopted, that she also loved fiercely. She was also a devoted sister to Mary Dent of Roscommon Michigan, Rosie Gawlik of Edgerton Ohio and Patty Butts of Vanderbilt Michigan. Aiding in this deep family bond, she was a grandmother who found unparalleled joy in the lives of her grandchildren, always celebrating their milestones, whether it was their first steps of achievements in sports. To her, family was everything, she relished in each moment spent with them and was known for her delightful recipes, often anticipating their cravings before they even voiced them. 

Her personality was vibrant and welcoming. Teresa had a knack for making everyone feel loved and heard, always offering a listening ear whenever it was needed. her candid nature meant she was not afraid to share her honest thoughts, sometimes delivering truths that others might find difficult to hear. However, her intentions were always rooted in love and support. 

Beyond her family obligations, Teresa had a very spirited side. She was a passionate fan of the Denver Broncos, showcasing her enthusiasm for the game. Additionally, her talent as a craft collector marked her as someone who appreciated creativity and artistic endeavors. 

Teresa is survived by her beloved family members including Phil Streeter her beloved partner, Joe Forman, her precious children and her grandchildren, who were the highlight of her life. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Walker, whose legacy was very important. 

As we remember Teresa, we reflect on a life that was filled with love, joy and cherished memories. Her undeniable spirit and commitment to those around her will continue to resonate with all who were fortunate enough to know her. Teresa Michelle Coots will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the love she shared and the impact she has left behind. 

As mom would have wanted, please don't come to the memorial service in dress clothes, that was something she didn't like. Come comfy as you are. Her favorite color was purple, or your more than welcome to wear orange and blue for the Denver Broncos. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, Wy (800 Uinta Street) from 1-5. Please feel welcome to come and go as you can.
