Russell "Rusty" Megeath

Russell “Rusty” Allan Megeath passed away at the age of 73 on November 1, 2021 in Katy, Texas, surrounded by family.

Rusty was born to William A. Megeath and Josephine N. Megeath on March 4, 1948. Rusty served 35 years with the Uinta County Fire Department. Rusty was also a referee for many years with the Wyoming High School Athletics Association. After retirement Rusty spent time traveling with family and golfing. He relocated to Katy, TX in 2019.

Rusty is survived by his children Nanci (Mario) Gulley, David (Danelle) Megeath, Becki (Brock) Dawson, Jon Megeath, Paul (Zina) Megeath, Cresta Megeath and Fletcher Megeath. Rusty also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and his siblings Paul Megeath, Peggy McJunkin, and Jeannie Gardner.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
