Rose Marie Fessler

Rose Marie Fessler, of Evanston Wyoming, died November 17,2024, in Rathdrum, Idaho. She was 88 years of age.

Rose was born November 3rd, 1936, to Frank Raymond and Vera Faulkner of Evanston, Wyoming. Rose was second daughter of three. She graduated from Evanston High School, where she met David Ralph “Dutch” Fessler. They got married on June 4th, 1954 in Evanston where they had two children, Douglas Craig Fessler and Debra Deon Fessler. Shortly after having Doug and Debra, the two decided on taking a chance to improve their lives, and the family moved to Las Vegas in 1960. Once in Las Vegas Rose had her third child, David Drew Fessler. Being the hard worker Rose has always been, she decided to enroll in a nursing program at UNLV and successfully passed with a Registered Nurse degree while raising three children. Rose worked at several hospitals during her 20+ years of nursing where she specialized in Intensive Care Nursing.

Outside of work, Rose had many passions. These included gardening, restoration of antiques, reading, and oil painting. But her strongest passion was story telling. She loved sharing family history with each of her family members and wanted to share it all.

Rose is survived by her two sons: Douglas Craig Fessler and David Drew Fessler, 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Vera Faulkner, her sisters Shirley Mae and Vera Francine, her daughter Debra Deon Magee.

Her celebration of life will be at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston, Wyoming on November 26th, 2024 at 11:00 am.
