Randall John Kukoy, 75, of Cokeville, Wyoming, passed away July 14, 2025 in his home surrounded by those who loved him.
He was born July 10, 1950 in Kemmerer, Lincoln, Wyoming to Enoch Ignaustias Kukoy and Angela Ella Glagovich Kukoy Milburn.
He was raised in Kemmerer, Wyoming and grew up loving basketball, softball, hunting and fishing. He graduated from Kemmerer High School in 1968. He continued his education at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs, Wyoming. He received both an honors scholarship as well as basketball scholarship.
After attending Western Wyoming, he joined the United States Navy where he served for 4 years as a Communications Technician in San Diego, California. He was also stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was awarded a National Defense Service Medal for his service.
He owned and operated Randall’s Meat Market in Kemmerer, Wyoming for several years.
Randall had many friendships that he treasured throughout his life. He enjoyed playing on the SUDSCO team for the community softball league in Kemmerer. He also looked forward to hunting trips with friends each year and had many hunting stories to share. He also loved to go fishing.
He married Colleen Robertson from Evanston, Wyoming, and had one step-daughter. He continued his work in several meat departments throughout Utah, Idaho and Wyoming, including Food For Less and Costco.
He joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in various capacities.
He became ill and Colleen became his caretaker/guardian for several years prior to his death.
He is survived by a daughter, son, and step-daughter; his sister, Teri (Johnny) Kukoy Gomez and Betty (Spencer) Glagovich Williams; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, step grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Enoch, his mother Ella, his brother-in-law Spencer Williams and his sister, Betty Glagovich Williams.
Services will be held at the Evanston City Cemetery in Evanston, Wy on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Military honors will be rendered at the graveside.
