Rachel Renée Farnsworth

November 7, 1990 — May 28, 2026

Evanston

Rachel Renée Farnsworth passed away unexpectedly in Evanston, Wyoming on May 28, 2026.

Rachel grew up in Cheyenne, WY and graduated from Central High School in Cheyenne and continued her education at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Her adventurous spirit led her abroad, where she lived and attended school in England for six years while traveling throughout Europe. Over the years, she also made her home in Alaska, California, Oregon, and Colorado, where she found great joy in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. A true free spirit, Rachel embraced life's journey wherever it led her.

Rachel was intelligent, quick-witted, and had a remarkable sense of humor. She loved watching sitcoms and was known for borrowing the perfect one-liner to brighten everyday conversations. Her laughter, warmth, and ability to connect with others drew many friends into her life.

Above all, Rachel had a deep and abiding love for animals, especially dogs. They were her greatest joy, and she devoted countless hours to volunteering with animal shelters and helping animals in need. Her compassion, generosity, and kind heart touched the lives of both people and animals alike.

Rachel will be remembered for her sparkling wit, adventurous spirit, and genuine care for others. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is survived by her parents, Robert and Tonya Farnsworth; her maternal grandmother; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her beloved dog, Pluto.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.

"Those we love never truly leave us. They live on in the stories we share, the laughter we remember, and the love they gave so freely."
