Paul W. Holwuttle Jr., passed away on January 25, 2026, in Evanston, Wyoming, at the age of 89. Born on October 13, 1936, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Paul lived a life filled with passion for his family and a love for the simple joys of life.  He married Janet Elaine Harris on June 30, 1956.

Paul dedicated 30 years of his career to working on oil rigs, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft. His time in the industry not only shaped his professional life but also fostered lifelong friendships built on shared experiences and mutual respect.

A proud veteran, Paul served in the Army and was stationed in Alaska, an experience that left a lasting impact on him. His military service instilled in him values of discipline and resilience that he carried throughout his life.

Paul had a great sense of humor and was known for his vibrant personality. He possessed a wealth of knowledge and was always willing to offer advice when asked, endearing him to many. He relished spending time with his family, creating countless memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. His love for old trains was another aspect of his life that brought him joy, often sharing that passion with those around him.

Paul is survived by his daughters, Karrie (David) Jones and Linda (David) Finstead; his sons, Richard (Sharron) Holwuttle, Aaron (Pam) Holwuttle, Charles Holwuttle, and Loren Holwuttle; as well as many beloved grandchildren who will remember his warmth and laughter.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Janet E. Holwuttle, and his parents, who undoubtedly shaped the man he became.

As we remember Paul W. Holwuttle Jr., we celebrate a life rich in love, laughter, and unwavering support for his family. His spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories that will forever be held dear.
