Patricia Dennis

Patricia (Patty) McRay Dennis passed away peacefully in her home in Tucson, Arizona, surrounded by family, on November 24, 2025. She was born on July 2, 1956, in Heber City, Utah, to John and Lucille McRay. Patty was raised in Heber before moving to Lyman, Wyoming.

In Lyman, Patty was married twice. Her first marriage was to John Roberts, with whom she had two children, Keven and Carrie Roberts. She later married Ron Dennis, who had three children—Shane, Spring, and Holly—and together Patty and Ron had two more children, Kayla and Roni. Patty also lovingly raised her niece, Tressa McRay Barnes. In total, she raised seven children and her niece.

Patty is preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucille McRay; her brothers, Frank and Kelly McRay; her daughter, Carrie Patricia Roberts; John Roberts; and Ronald Dennis.

She is survived by her children:

• Keven (Nicole) Roberts

• Shane (Brenda) Dennis

• Spring (Jacob) Spellman

• Holly Dennis Whitney

• Kayla Dennis

• Roni Dennis (Elizabeth Brown)

and her niece, Tressa McRay Barnes, along with 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

One of Patty’s most meaningful roles was her work with the Uinta County SAFV Program, where she provided support and compassion to many.

A viewing will be held on December 17th at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM, with the service starting at 1:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at the Lyman Cemetery.

Patty was loved by many, including the children in Tucson who affectionately called her GRANDMA.
