Nellie Sears

Nellie Fackrell Powers Sears, 94, died July 25, 2011 in Salt Lake City, UT.

Nellie was born July 27, 1916 in Lyman, WY, the first of six children to, John and Hazel Wilden Fackrell.

Nellie married Joseph H. Powers March 21, 1935 and from this union came four children.

She was a life long resident of Lincoln and Uinta counties in Wyoming. She loved people and was a loyal and devoted friend, helping others wherever she could. Spending time with family was a great joy in her life.

Nellie is survived by a daughter, Hazell Jean Muller of West Jordan, UT; Sons, Michael “Mick” Powers of Bridger Valley; Mark Powers of Bridger Valley, 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren; two sisters. Lori Anderson, and Mary Lou Cross both of Bridger Valley.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Joseph Powers, and Frank Sears, and a daughter, Joyce Rountree.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 30 ^th at 1:00 pm at the Lyman LDS Chapel in Lyman, WY.

A viewing will be held that same day 1 hour prior to services.

Interment to follow at the Lyman City Cemetery.
