Nedra Burke

Nedra Burke passed away at her home in Evanston, Wyoming on July 9, 2025. Nedra was born on September 26, 1928 in Manila, Utah to Dewey and Josephine Lamb. Nedra a ended schools in Manila and Rock Springs, and graduated from Manila High School.

Nedra married Larry Burke on April 24, 1974. They lived in Glen Rock, Rock Springs and Evanston, Wyoming. Nedra was an exceptional seamstress. She worked at Singers sewing store in Rock Springs, teaching sewing. She loved water skiing, golfing, and traveling on the motorcycle with her husband, Larry. They rode thousands of “Harley” miles across the west.

Nedra is survived by her son Troy Marble (Jo) and daughter-in-law Johnne Christensen; grandchildren Nick Marble, Emily Quintana (Dan) , Mandy Fraughton, Marni Christensen; great grandchildren Jordan Christensen, Bethany Christensen, Gage Covington and Indianna Covington and several nieces and nephews. Nedra was preceded in death by her husband Larry, parents Dewey and Josephine, daughter Sharon (Sherry) Hymel, son Grant Christensen, grandson Neil Christensen, sisters Fern Ferrero, Be y Moss, and Grace Jones; brothers Bert, Keith and Jim Lamb.

Her family would like to thank her home health caregivers for their help and service to her.

 At her request, after cremation, there will be no services.
