Mary Jean Urroz Lindley

Mary Jean Urroz Lindley, 81, passed away on June 1, 2025, in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born in Provo, Utah, to John and Edna Vacher Urroz on July 17, 1943.

Mary graduated from Evanston High School in 1962. In 1963, she became a partner in Urroz Ranch and managed it following the death of her father, John Urroz—a legacy she embraced with pride and devotion. When she met Gordon Lindley, it was love at first sight—they were married just three months later, on November 24, 1965. Their devoted partnership lasted nearly 60 years.

She also dedicated 25 years to the office of Lindley Construction and was a partner in Yellow Creek Estates.

Mary is survived by her husband, Gordon Lindley, and their daughter, Brandi “Brin” Lindley. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Catherine Urroz Seale.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m., both at Crandall Funeral Home, 800 Uinta St, Evanston, WY. Private graveside services will follow at the Evanston City Cemetery.
