Macey Dawn Bradshaw, 20, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. She was born on September 17, 2005, in St. George, Utah, to April Dawn Taylor and Justin K. Bradshaw.
Macey was a sweet, easy-going young woman whose bright, beautiful eyes and infectious smile lit up every room she entered. She carried a gentle kindness and had a quiet way of making others feel seen and heard. Her compassionate soul loved without condition.
Beyond the love she shared with family and friends, Macey had a deep passion for hunting and fishing, and she found great solace during trips to Alaska, her happy place. A gifted artist, Macey’s work reflected the beauty and depth of her spirit. She also had a soft spot for animals, especially her beloved older cat, Anubis.
Proud to share her middle name with her mother and sisters, Taylor was not only her sister but her “ride or die” and best friend. In Taylor’s words, Macey was the person she could count on most.
Those who knew Macey well knew she was daddy’s little girl. She and her father shared a special bond, and with him she found her safe place, a constant source of love, comfort, and support.
Macey’s playful sense of humor and infectious laugh brought joy to everyone around her. In the last year of her life, she was excited to have a place of her own and had entered a season of happiness and contentment, a young woman beaming with light.
Loved beyond measure, Macey will be missed beyond words. She leaves behind a love that will never fade and memories that will last a lifetime. She will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her, family and friends bonded by the privilege of having shared in her life.
Macey is survived by many loving family and friends, including her parents, Justin K. Bradshaw and April Dawn Taylor; her sister, Taylor Dawn Bradshaw; her half-siblings, Briette Dawn Boss, Cassidee Dawn Covington, Jezek Dusk Certonio, Lyriklya Dawn Taylor, and Lilly Jo Bradshaw; her stepsister, Kylie Brook Iverson, and her stepbrother, Ryker Scott Taggart. She is also survived by her stepmothers, Cheryl Marie Bradshaw and Becky Jo Bradshaw.
In honor of Macey, we will be starting a nonprofit organization, A New Dawn: Remembering Macey Dawn. Much of the proceeds from the auction will go toward this mission. This nonprofit will be dedicated to supporting youth, with a focus on domestic violence and mental health. Our hope is to help educate, support, and protect young people, and to honor Macey by turning love into purpose.
A viewing will be held on January 2 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Lyman High School with a celebration of life on Saturday January 3 at 11 AM also at the Lyman High School.
