Louise Wright Pace

June 4, 1938 — January 13, 2026

Wanship, Utah

Louise Wright Pace, 87, of Wanship, Utah, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026 in Heber City, Utah. She was born in Hoytsville, Utah on June 4, 1938, daughter of Jesse and Euphemia “Faye” Wright. She graduated from North Summit High School in 1956, soon after she married the love of her life DA Pace. They married in July of 1957 and in July of 1976 they were sealed for time and all eternity. They were blessed with three children Perry, Cory and Pam. Their children gave them 7 grandchildren, and their grandchildren brought into their world 14 great grandchildren. She raised her kids alongside her husband on the dairy/cattle ranch they owned and operated. She worked for the Summit County Health Department for many years, and she found so much joy in doing this job. She learned all her cooking skills from cooking alongside her mother while growing up in their home. Her and DA took many vacations throughout the many years spent together but her favorite trip was to South America. She took great pride in her hair always being perfect, and always had a standing hair appointment weekly. She faced every trial in her life with the frame of mind that she would always win, she had a no quit attitude and never gave up. We would like to thank Jeanette Vernon for her continued support and care for her. Our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend is survived by her children Perry(Leslie), Cory(Colleen), Pam(Bryan), Sister in laws Carolyn Wright and Patsy(Kent) Simister, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, family members and dear friends. She is preceded in death by her husband DA Pace, her parents Jesse and Euphemia “Faye” Wright, Mother and Father in law Eugene and Neta Pace, her two siblings Geraldine “Jerie” Higley and Darrell “Butch” Wright, along with multiple friends. What a beautiful reunion it must have been. In lieu of flowers, Louise asked to donate to your favorite charity or to take care of your loved ones. A graveside will be held at the Wanship cemetery on Saturday January 17, 2026 @ 1:30pm.
