Lonnie Allen Watson

Lonnie Allen Watson passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026, at Rocky Mountain Care in Evanston, Wyoming. Lonnie was born in Wichita, Kansas, on July 26, 1960. Lonnie was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.

His family is deeply grateful to the wonderful staff at Rocky Mountain Care for their compassion, kindness, and care. We will always be thankful for the way they cared for Lonnie and helped make his final days comfortable.

Lonnie proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, and we will always remember and honor his service.

Lonnie loved the simple things in life. He loved his animals, spending time gardening, and sharing his love through baking and cooking. These were some of the things that brought him happiness and allowed him to care for others in his own special way.

Lonnie is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved parents, Roger Victor Watson and Martha Ann Watson; his sisters, Vickie Ann Bergstad, Terry Lynn Watson, and Becky Jolene Watson; and his nephew, Travis Lee Card.

He leaves behind his sister, Julie Card; his brother, David Watson; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

Lonnie will be remembered for the life he lived, the love he shared through food, and the memories he left behind. Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, we find comfort knowing that he is no longer suffering and is reunited with those who went before him. We will announce services at a later date.
