Linda Wayland

Linda Lee Wayland passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025.

Linda was born to Norma and Robert Waugh on July 15, 1951in Worland Wyoming. She lived in Salt Lake City for much of her younger years. She then relocated to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. While residing there, she met her life partner and husband, Patrick Wayland. The two were married on June 3, 1975 and went on to have three children.

The couple relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1993 due to Pats job. Linda worked as a cashier most of her life until she left to help raise her Granddaughter. When Pats job put him in Wyoming, they relocated to Lyman, Wyoming in November 2003. It was here that they would spend the rest of their lives, Linda was a beloved member of our family. She was a Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She will be forever missed.

Linda Lee Wayland is survived by her children, Julie (Kahlil) Benmellah of Denver, Jennifer (Mike) Heintz of Lyman and Scott Wayland of Lyman. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Reeves of Craig, Colorado, her 10 Grandchildren, Soraya Benmellah, Amin Benmellah, Danielle (Zack) Monson, Michael Heintz, Chance Heintz, Mathew Heintz, Allen (Nickie) Thiemann, Elizabeth (Jeremy) Major, Christoper Wayland and Kylie Wayland, as well as 10 Great Grandchildren.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband Patrick Wayland, Her mother and father, Robert and Norma Waugh and her three brothers, Robert Waugh, Barry Waugh, and Dennis Waugh.

There will be no services as the family intends to follow Linda's wish of being planted with a tree.
