LeeAnn Rose Kertz, 73, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

LeeAnn was born on November 5, 1952, in Saint Genevieve, Missouri, to Lonnie and Ruth Boyet. She was lovingly raised by her grandmother, Florence and Uncle Lawrence who played a special role in her life. LeeAnn graduated from Saint Genevieve High School in 1971.

On November 12, 1971, she married the love of her life, Wayne John Kertz. Together they built a beautiful life and family, sharing more than 54 years of love, devotion, and adventure.

LeeAnn and Wayne were blessed with three children: David Kertz and his wife, Timaley; Deanna Case and her husband, Justin; and Michael Kertz and his wife, Heather.

She was a proud grandmother to Brian, Cory, Kiley and her husband, Tim, Dawson and his wife, McKinzee, Tysan, Brendon, Morgan, Hunter, Mark, Tyson and an adopted grandson, Celton. She was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy.

Although LeeAnn held a few jobs throughout her life, the role she cherished most was that of wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She devoted herself to her family and worked tirelessly to create a childhood filled with love, laughter, sports, church activities, family vacations, and countless memories. There was always room for friends and extended family to join in the fun, and her home was a place where everyone felt welcome.

LeeAnn enjoyed reading, crocheting, quilting, playing cards and traveling. She and Wayne shared a love of seeing the country and traveled together to every state except Alaska and Hawaii. Later, she fulfilled her dream of visiting Hawaii with her daughter Deanna, son-in-law Justin, and granddaughter Kiley.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her mother, Ruth Boyet; sisters, Lisa and Mary Lou; two very special girls, Vicki and Shonna; and many beloved extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne John Kertz; granddaughter, Stacie Rena; grandmother Florence; uncle Lawrence, father Lonnie Boyet; brother, John “Buddy” Boyet; and sister Debbie.

LeeAnn’s greatest legacy is the family she loved so deeply and the countless lives she touched with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion. Her love, guidance, and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with the love of her life, Wayne. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and forever remembered. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
