Kenneth Robert Sorenson, of Evanston, Wyoming, passed away on August 11, 2025, at the Huntsman Cancer Institute with his daughter and son-in-law lovingly by his side. He was 67 years old.
Kenny was born on May 4, 1958, in Ruislip, England, to Earl Sorenson and Joan Sorenson. In his younger years, he worked in the mines and later spent time bartending, where his outgoing nature and quick wit made him a natural behind the counter. He eventually built a long and steady career with Walmart, where he made many lasting friendships.
Kenny had a gift for making people laugh and always brightened the room with his humor and stories. A talented pool player, a good listener, and someone who never met a stranger, he will be remembered for the warmth and joy he shared with everyone around him.
He is survived by his daughter, Marina Dawn Vaughn, and her husband, Colton John Vaughn; his two grandchildren, Brayden James Vaughn and Allyson Ann Vaughn; his sisters, Debbie Talbot and Amy Archuleta; and his brothers, Joseph Sorenson and Michael Sorenson.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kenny’s life on September 14, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Depot Square in Evanston, Wyoming.
