Jimme Ray Jacobson

Jimme Ray Jacobson was born in Butte, Montana, on January 6, 1951, to Rhea Condos Jacobson and Otto Gene Jacobson. He grew up in Montana, Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming.

At the age of 17, Jimme joined the Army and was deployed to Vietnam. Following his Army service, he joined the Navy and was again deployed to Vietnam.

During his military service, he received two Purple Hearts, an Army Commendation Medal, a Vietnam Service Medal, and several other commendations.

After completing his military service, Jimme became a highly skilled millwright. His work took him extensively across the country and overseas, allowing him to see and experience many places throughout his career.

In 1978, Jimme met the love of his life, Anna Jane "Janey" Bideler. They were married on June 5, 1978. Together, they traveled often for Jimme's work before eventually settling in Randolph, Utah. After many years in Randolph, they moved to Evanston.

Jimme was a member of the VFW and the Eagles. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially loved to hunt and fish. These were among the things that brought him peace, enjoyment, and many cherished memories throughout his life.

Jimme passed away on September 2nd 2026 at the age of 75.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janey; his mother and father; and his brothers-in-law, Robert Rayl and H.H. "Buck" King.

He is survived by his brothers, Bradley Gene (Linda) Jacobson and Jeffrey Gene Jacobson; his sisters, Joleen King and Kayleen Rayl; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A joint celebration of life for Jimme and his wife, Janey, will be held on September 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the property they loved and called home, located at 90 North 100 East in Randolph, Utah.

All friends and family are welcome to come together to remember and celebrate the lives of Jimme and Janey.
