Holly Gay Green

Holly Gay Green, 62, our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

Holly was born in Ogden, Utah, to her parents Elaine (Donaldson) Albright, Harold Maffet, Michael Neumeyer, and Judy Martin. She was one of nine siblings—Colleen, Michelle, Michael, Dustin, Todd, Ryan, Adam, Heidi, and Judy Maffet Picha—each of whom she loved deeply.

Holly grew up in Roy, Utah, and graduated from Roy High School. Shortly after, she married Launy Lynn Ostrup, and together they welcomed three sons: Cody (Pyper), Brandon (Theresa), and Cameron (Cora). Holly raised her boys in Roy, creating a home filled with adventure, love, laughter, and the outdoors she adored.

In June 2003, Holly married Mark Lawrence Green, and with this union she lovingly gained two stepsons, Clint and Dirk (Taylor). Holly and Mark were later blessed with 12 cherished grandchildren: Ariah, Aspyn, Raelynn, Bodee, Cooper, Trip, Thayne, Jaxon, Olivia, Tyree, Lainey, and Daisey.

Holly lived a life rooted in nature and family. She found joy in camping, fishing, and boating—activities that brought her peace and connected her with the people she loved most. Whether gathered around a campfire or out on the water, Holly created countless memories that her family will hold close forever.

Holly will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her warmth, her adventurous spirit, and the love she freely shared will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at: West Haven Barn 3785 Green Farm Way West Haven, UT 84401
