Georgine Louise (Angwin) Miller was born November 17, 1968, to John S. and Anna Louise (Bateman) Angwin, who passed away December 30, 2023.
Jo, as she was known, married Bill Miller of Heber City, Utah, in 1987, which later dissolved, but they remained friends until his death. On March 22, 1999, Jo adopted her daughter Jolee Miller, who filled her life with great joy. JoLee and Jo had countless adventures and were hardly separated. In 2011, Jo married Roger Miller of Green River, Wyoming, who devoted his life to both of them. Sadly, Roger passed in 2015, leaving a massive hole in her life.
Jo worked many jobs throughout her life, but her most extraordinary job was as a sister, mother, and aunt. She supported every family member through their sports and activities, birthdays, holidays, and life events. Jo could not contain herself regarding presents, either for birthdays or Christmas. As a kid, she would sneak under the tree and open every gift she could before morning. Jo would then replace the tape to hide her peeking. She would get so excited about gifting someone that she would give them their gift early and insist on opening it right then.
Jo had the heart of a giant. She wanted everyone to feel love and gave all she could to those in her life. You could not know Jo without knowing love. She would take the shirt off her back to give to those in need. Anyone and everyone were welcome in her home. There were many family gatherings, with Jo bringing along a friend. Jo did not hold grudges and always remembered people for their good qualities.
Jo loved to create. She would try painting, resin art, fabric art, and any other craft she could handle. She made many gifts for her family and friends.
Recently, Jo was caring for two young cousins, which kept her busy and helped fill the part of her heart that had been left open by the death of Roger. They all passed away together, with a great deal of love between them.
Jo is preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Miller and Roger Miller, her father, John Angwin, and her grandparents, Ralph and Delora Bateman, Warren and Lillian Angwin. Jo is survived by her daughter, Jolee Miller; her mother, Anna Louise Angwin(Bateman); a sister, Veronica (Shawn) Ottley of Evanston; brother, John E Angwin of Evanston; sister-in-law Kara Angwin of Evanston, brother Clayton (Elizabeth) Angwin of Evanston, and sister Katie B Angwin of Boise Idaho as well as a step-daughter, Autumn Thorpe. She has many nieces and nephews and always made their time together fun. Jo has a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will also miss her.
A celebration of life for Jo will be held in the spring.
