Gary Peterson

Gary Stanley Peterson, fondly known as “G”, passed away peacefully September 25, 2021 at his home in Ft. Bridger, Wyoming surrounded by family after a long illness.

Gary was a longtime employee of Mountain Fuel and Questar.

His passion was making guns, knives, and anything out of wood. He loved camping, boating, riding 4-wheelers and his motorcycle. But the most important thing in his life was his love for his family; his wife of 52 years, Sheryl; his daughters Shantell, Britaney and Shawntay; his 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He is survived by his wife Sheryl; daughters Shantell (Rex), Britaney, and Shawntay; grandchildren Jagger, Lyndsay, Ryder, Hayden, Halli, Axel, Slater, Dylan (Cheyenne), Kamrun, Kayman, Tysan, Brendon, River, Lanie, and Kegun; great-grandchild Caleb; brothers, Kendall (Kathy), Leslie (Becky), Troy (Tina), Jim; and his sisters, Annie, and Debbie.

Funeral services for Gary will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Ft. Bridger American Legion Hall in Ft. Bridger, WY. A viewing will take place 1 hour prior at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Ft. Bridger Cemetery with a dinner to follow at the Legion Hall.
