Gary Eugene Cantlin

Gary Eugene Cantlin was born on July 28, 1949, near Evanston Wyoming to John (Jack) and Eudora Cantlin. He was the 2nd of four children.

He graduated from Mtn View High School in 1968. Soon after, in 1972 he joined the national guard.

Gary married Shelley Bluemel on August 30, 1972. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City UT temple in November 1995. They welcomed baby boy Johnathon on September 11, 1975.

Gary enjoyed hunting, traveling to Hawaii, and going on cruises. He collected guns, coins, and knives. He liked to watch basketball, the news, Rawhide, Gunsmoke, and Mash.

He is survived by his sister Millie (Ern) Stacey, his son Johnathon, and his wife Carol grandchildren Keven and his wife Elisbeth, Ethan, Alysa, & Abby. Two great-grand sons Lane and Beau with a baby girl coming in August.

Gary is preceded in death by his wife Shelley, parents John (Jack) & Eudora, brother Dan, and sister Nellie.

A viewing will be held on Monday, March 30th from 6-8pm and Tuesday, March 31st at 10am at the Mountain View LDS church, 116 W 4th St, Mountain View, WY. Funeral services will follow at 11AM. Interment will be at the Milburne Cemetery, Milburne, WY.
