Frank Tillmann passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, at the age of 68, just two weeks before his 69th birthday. He passed away at IHC in Murray, Utah, surrounded by loved ones after complications with his health.

Frank was born on June 2, 1957, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Friedrich Wilhelm Tillmann and Lisa Maria Ann Fleitmann Tillmann.

Frank leaves behind the love of his life, Denise Ricks, with whom he shared 21 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and memories. He is also survived by his brother, Ruedi (Ruth) Tillmann; his sister-in-law, Sharon Tillmann; his mother-in-law, Karma Ricks; brothers-in-law Dennis (Vanessa) Ricks, Stanley (Jamy) Ricks, and Dustin Ricks; sisters-in-law Brandy Ricks, Robin Ricks, Paradise Ricks, and Brandee Ricks; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Holger Tillmann; his sister, Heidemarie Fenstermaker (Steve); his grandparents; several aunts and uncles; his father-in-law, Dennis Ricks; and his close friend, Wayne White.

Frank had a deep love for the outdoors and found happiness in camping, fishing, and snowmobiling. Some of his favorite moments were spent at the family cabin near Smith and Morehouse in Weber Canyon, surrounded by the people he loved most. He cherished time with family and friends and had a gift for making people feel welcome. Frank had a gift for making people feel welcome. He could easily strike up a conversation with anyone and loved telling stories with everyone he met.

He enjoyed working at Kamas Foodtown and Sinclair Gas Station and also spent many years in the auto business. In his younger years, he proudly worked in search and rescue, always willing to help others when needed.

Frank will be remembered for his warm heart, his sense of humor, his kindness, and the love he had for those around him. The memories he created and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, form 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Crandall Funeral Home 105 East Center St., Kamas, Utah. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Kamas City Park 170 North Main St., Kamas.
