Delores Anne Pope, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother gained her angel wings on May 15, 2025 to engage in a mission she always wanted to do. Her loving dog Larry was by her side at McKay-Dee Hospital and we'd like to thank the staff who made it possible and took loving care of Delores.
Delores' life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here.
Delores proudly worked as a correctional officer in California for 12 years. Once retired, she moved to Wyoming. Delores was funny and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a huge animal lover and a strong supporter of the ASPCA. When Delores wasn't spending time with her animals or projects, she could be found traveling across the States.
Delores is survived by her loving husband, Terrence Pope of 50 years; two granddaughters, two great-grandchildren and countless friends. Delores was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law and her brother who served in Vietnam.
