Anita Marce O'Driscoll

March 10, 1964 — July 29, 2025

Evanston

Anita Marce O’Driscoll, age 61, of Evanston, WY, passed away on July 29, 2025, at Rocky Mountain Care with terminal cervical cancer. She was surrounded by those who loved her deeply.

Anita was born on March 10, 1964, in Deer Lodge, MT, to Margie Backus and Ron Remy. Throughout her life, she held many roles, but the ones she treasured most were being a devoted mother and a proud grandmother.

Anita was a kind, compassionate soul who was always there when someone needed her, whether for big moments or small gestures. Her radiant presence could light up any room, and her warmth made people feel instantly at ease. She had a deep love for gardening, music, poetry, and being in nature. Simply taking in beautiful scenery or watching wildlife brought her peace and joy.

More than anything, Anita cherished time spent with her family, whether it was a simple phone call, a FaceTime chat, or sharing a meal together. One of her favorite pastimes was collecting heart-shaped rocks, a hobby she lovingly shared with family and friends. She was always searching for the next special one.

Anita is survived by her children: Daniel O’Driscoll (grandchildren: Gaia, Achilles, Rain, and Dragon), Ashley and Trevor Valentine (grandchildren: Mya, Madison, and Monson), and Cheryl and Zack Simpson (Granddogs: Kylo, Isla, Phantom, and Matilda). She was preceded in death by her fathers, Denny Kulaski and Ron Remy.

A celebration of life will be held on August 10th at 1:00 p.m. at Bear River Park, near the buffalo. We invite you to bring a dish you think our mom would have enjoyed, as we gather to honor her memory and the love, she shared with all of us.
