Amanda Sue Woolstenhulme Jones

November 29, 1979 — October 9, 2023

Oakley

Amanda was born November 29, 1979, in Provo, Utah to Michael Keith and Sue Andersen Woolstenhulme. She passed away unexpectedly October 9, 2023 at her home in Oakley, UT.

She married the love her life Joseph Kimball Jones on June 16, 2000, in Oakley, UT.

Amanda was a dedicated wife to Joe who together created a life and family full of love. They brought 3 amazing children into this world Madison Sarah, Carter Joseph, and Macady Amanda. Her children were her pride and joy. She was extremely proud of everything they have done and accomplished in their lives. She was their biggest fan and the #1 Soccer Mom, always running to a game to watch Carter or Bella play.

Amanda loved to travel, some of her favorite places were National Parks, with Yellowstone at the top of the list. There was always a yearly picture with Madison in front of the Madison River sign.

She enjoyed being a member of the Oakley Civic Club. She absolutely loved the 4th of July Celebration and rodeo and never missed the parade. She enjoyed helping run the hamburger shacks with her Grandma Shirley and her sisters. It was a time she looked forward to every year.

Amanda was the greatest friend, confidant, and advice giver, whether you wanted it or not. Her laughter was truly contagious, with a smile that radiated from her in waves. She made sure all those in her circle were taken care of, be it a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear, a meal, or a drive with some good tunes. No matter what she was there for you! Amanda was the most beautiful person who exuded happiness, love, and kindness. The void in our lives and hearts will never be filled.

Amanda is survived by her husband Joe, children Madison (Jayden), Carter (Ella), and Macady. Her parents, Mike and Sue, sisters Janelle (Jesse) Oliver, Katelin (Tyrone) Gortat, and Allison (Eric) Rickett. Her brothers Brandon (Madi) Woolstenhulme and Matthew Woolstenhulme. Nieces and nephews Zackery Ray and Hadley Lyn Gortat, Alexis Anne, Enzlee Lyn, and Braxton Michael Rickett. In-laws Bill (Brenda) Jones, David (Corrine) Jones, Ben (Josie) Jones, Daniel (Sarah) Jones, Elisabeth (Bill) Tiffany, Rebekah (Josh) Brewer, Samuel (Debra) Jones, Rachel (Matt) Peck, Michael (Alysha) Jones, Matthew (Shelly) Jones, Sarah (Malcolm) Burtenshaw and their children.
